5: I thought the outside looked good other than some minor paint sag on the bumper. Then I saw all of the sanding marks under the paint on the roof. This is not good workmanship.
2: Once I was inside the car I noticed the interior was messed up. Greasy handprints all over my cloth headliner and pillar covers. Dropped the car off for them to clean up their mess. They got most of the dirt out.
Initially I was optimistic. The staff was friendly, got a fair estimate, and received daily progress updated with photos. However,
100% customer satisfaction is what they claim to be their goal, but the follow through is awful.
3: Now my driver side seatbelt won't retract. Or adjust. You used to be able to raise and lower the seatbelt height. Now just the cover goes up and down. It rattles obnoxiously.

After numerous phone calls with no resolution, I took my car to their place of business. I showed the lady the areas of concern. She said that there wasn't anything she could do without consent from the woman who wrote the estimate and she was on vacation. It was Thursday going into Labor Day and was told to expect a call by Tuesday. After several calls during the week, I finally spoke to the woman Thursday afternoon. After seeing my car she diverted blame or responsibility repeatedly. I asked to view the "before" pictures that they had taken for comparison and that still has not happened. She offered to resubmit the pictures to my insurance company to see if they would pay for it. she seemed to suggest I wanted the work done for free and that I was just looking for someone to foot the bill. She said I would hear from her by the end of the week. I didn't. Tuesday I called her and she said she hadn't heard from the insurance company, that she'd make some phone calls. It's now going into business day Friday and I have yet to get an update.
I was expecting a good job, but didn't get it. The staff didn't seem to care i had multiple issues. Only gave the second star because they at least matched the paint color correctly. This is the kind of work I expect of Maaco.
I am beyond disappointed.

1: The car was filthy when I picked it up. Looks like overspray all over. Body was marred and covered in scratches. The shop lead took the car back inside and detailed it nicely. When I got the car back the shop was closed,
Edited to change to a 1 star review. I just noticed that neither sun visor will work now. That's five separate problems in one shot. I'm now filing a complaint with corporate.
I was not satisfied with my car when I got it back. In fact, there was unfinished body work, new scratches, and compound on my car.
These guys did AMAZING work on my Scion, and returned it nice and detailed inside and out! My only critique is the air freshener they left in the car still stinks to high heaven like chemicals, weeks later. If that's something that would bother you too, I would make a special request to have them not use one on your car.
4: Same B pillar, the trim has a 1/2 gap in it. I guess I will have to take the B pillar trim off and fix it properly myself.
Does it sound to you like 100% customer satisfaction is their goal???
