Excellent care by excellent doctors. Been taking my pets there for nearly 20 years
My advice is to get trained receptionist who know how to triage a call and determine the severity of a pet and make the right call to work in asap or make them wait. Or ask a doctor.
They are the BEST vets I have ever met!!! We drive 40 miles to go there. They have saved Ricky, my soul mate, numerous times! He was almost killed by another vet with Mange, which fried his immune system. Dr Young talked to me for half an hour on the phone before I even went there as a patient. Then she treated Ricky and discovered he did not have mange any more ( the other vet had 4 more treatments scheduled...that would have killed him)Dr.Young saved him and I was hooked. That was ten years ago. Dr Eisenberg saved little Andy (mom's 4 lb Chiuahua from a spine injury with chiropractic. Yes, I said chiropractic! They also do cold laser, which Doc used on Ricky when he had a back injury that the Dayton Emergency Clinic might be a spine injury that would cause him to be paralyzed and he would not be able to walk. Doc kept him for three days and did cold laser for 6 times. Four more treatments over 4 weeks and Ricky is almost good as new. Dr. Young saved Dash, my IT from cancer, by diagnosing and sending us to the best cancer doc in Ohio, Dr Harris, in Milford. I could go on for hours. I board my dogs here because I know they are safe, and if Ricky has any problems he is in the best place. The staff is loving and caring and take GREAT care if us!!! LOVE these guys. They work with the base vet to get us cheaper prescriptions, since Ricky takes so many(thyroid, heart, allergies). And I know them all and trust any of them to treat our animals. They are our family
Great vet. They also offer a low cost vaccinations clinic every Saturday from 2-4. If you can get there about 1:30 you may not have a long wait. I've been twice. The first time it was very crowded. A couple weeks ago, I was done in 20 min. Hard to say how busy the clinic will be, but it is an asset to have these low cost vaccines. Thank you Stonyridge
Very unhappy with the compassion the hospital had yesterday for my mother and her dog. Her elderly dog took a turn for the worst over the night and began having seizures and the were becoming increasingly frequent! It was clearly time to make the decision ! As she called, she was told they had a 4:30pm appointment available for her! It is only 1:30pm at this time. I am very upset they would make a long time client of theirs wait for one of the hardest choices she had to make. I am and RVT and work at a veterinary hospital. If I didn't live 500 miles away in NC, you best believe I would have been here with her. Instead, had to find a hospital she had no relationship with to have her beloved pet put to sleep. This is not acceptable to me at the least in the veterinary field or any field and I am very disappointed as well as hurt because this was my childhood pet.
The most loving and caring staff around. I've never had to question my pet's care. They go above and beyond for each animal.
