Great place to bring the family for some hiking in the woods. The trails are well kept and offer some great scenery. Plus we love seeing the animals each time we are there!!
Very nice displays inside including bird watching. Outside mammal displays are well interpreted. There are several miles of well maintained trails through various terrain.
The American crow says "American crow." Lots of great stuff for kids to see and do. You need bug repellent out on the trails. Inside there's a treehouse room and a ground level observation area. There are animals being rehabilitated and some residents. There is a room with puzzles in the basement and my son will spend hours in there.
Amazing trails and refuge center, the crows talk to me. and the bald eagle is beautiful.
Beautiful place! It is very obvious the staff great pride in what they have.
